What’s The Role All About?
The Crew Scheduler is responsible for the daily clearing, tracking, and monitoring of published schedules of flight deck and cabin crew personnel, in accordance with existing policies and procedures, CAAP regulations, and marketing requirements to provide optimal staffing levels to cater to the needs of operations.
Who Are We Looking For?
- College or university graduate; Industrial Engineering is a plus
- Experience in customer service is an advantage
- Must be willing to work on a shifting schedule
Major Responsibilities
- Ensures that all flights are manned with the corresponding crew complement for the next day according to Philippine Civil Aviation Regulations, other prevailing government policies, and company policies and procedures
- Monitors flight disruptions or aircraft changes and makes the necessary adjustments in the concerned crew’s schedule by updating this in the crew management system and sending advisories to all crew affected by the changes
- Updates the crew management system with all changes encountered within the day which may affect succeeding duties on account of sick leaves, emergency leaves, requested leaves, extension of travel documents, and all other activities related to schedule changes
- Monitors flight departures and arrivals to ensure that crew are on time to take their flight duties to ensure on-time departure of flights
- Accomplishes the shift report and submits it to Flight Operations and Cabin Services to ensure that all activities that occurred during one’s shift are documented and acted upon.
