ResponsibilitiesThe Scrum Master supports one or more software development teams by facilitating Agile practices, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement. This role partners closely with Engineering, Product, and Delivery leadership to ensure predictable, high-quality execution.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos)
- Coach teams on Agile principles, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Identify and remove blockers impacting delivery
- Partner with Product Owners to maintain healthy, well-refined backlogs
- Track team metrics and delivery health
- Promote transparency, collaboration, and sustainable delivery practices
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years of experience in Agile delivery environment, 2+ years as a Scrum Master supporting Software Engineering teams
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks
- Experience working with mobile and backend engineering teams
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments is a plus
- Moderate Activity Lifting Requirements: Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs, including office supplies or lightweight equipment. Pushing/Pulling: Occasional pushing/pulling of carts or moderately weighted items. Standing/Sitting Requirements: Primarily seated work with regular standing, walking, or movement throughout the shift. Bending/Kneeling/Reaching: Regular reaching and occasional bending or kneeling as required for task completion. Coordination: Moderate manual coordination for handling equipment, tools, or materials. Vision/Auditory Requirements: Clear vision for reading screens, labels, or small details; clear hearing for standard communication. Environmental Conditions: Indoor work environment with occasional exposure to various climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas. Safety Equipment: Must be able to utilize PPE and other equipment as required (e.g., gloves, safety glasses).
