Primary Responsibilities:
- Executes trades for FX, commodities, and interest rates derivatives within approved parameters.
- Inputs transaction details into deal-capture system in accordance with established procedures.
- Helps in review and preparation of counterparty-related documentation (ISDA, onboarding requirements, KYC, etc.)
- Assists in preparation of monthly accounting entries for hedge positions and settlements.
- Keeps abreast of global markets and economic news, sends regular commentary on developments affecting airline exposures to fuel, FX, and interest rates.
- Helps in measuring/quantifying risk exposures, developing risk management and hedging strategies and evaluating hedging instruments.
Qualifications:
- Certified Treasury Professional by the BAP, or willing to undergo the certification program.
- CPA with experience in applying IFRS9 standards (hedge accounting) is an advantage.
- Must have knowledge of financial risk management principles and methods.
- Must have familiarity with spot and derivative instruments (options, swaps, structured products).
- Experience in dealing/trading is an advantage.
- Desirable quantitative skills: forecasting, risk modelling, and advanced Excel.
- Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines

Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
