STS Aviation Services is hiring a Logistics Operative to support our growing aviation maintenance operation in Dubai. This role is essential to keeping tools, materials, and equipment moving efficiently across the operation while maintaining strict compliance with aviation, safety, and quality standards.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this position supports daily logistics activity across tooling, materials, and inventory control in a fast paced Part 145 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive materials and equipment in accordance with approved logistics procedures
- Store, tag, and control tooling and equipment, including calibration status where applicable
- Issue and receive tools and equipment, including airside equipment
- Maintain minimum stock levels across tool stores and material stores based on supplier lead times
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and safe working procedures related to materials storage
- Provide logistics support for urgent and high priority operational requirements
- Support the Logistics Lead and wider team with additional logistics duties as required
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the logistics management system
Skills And Experience
- Proven experience working in a logistics or stores environment
- Previous aviation logistics experience strongly preferred
- Experience using logistics or inventory systems, Ultramain experience is an advantage
- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexible, proactive approach with a willingness to learn and adapt
