Job Description
You will be a Tool Room Attendant Located at our Lockheed Martin Greenville, South Carolina Facility. Our team is responsible for providing specialized tooling and support equipment.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Tool Room Attendant you will be responsible for Receiving, storing, and issuing hand tools, machine tools, and testing equipment by utilizing AMCS, a computer based program, to manage the assets in the tool room.
The Tool Room Attendant will also be responsible for the below listed secondary duties:
- Preform annual inspections and inventories of the tools and test equipment assigned to the tool room.
- Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
- Submit portable tool request (PTR) and tool repair tickets (TRT) at the technicians request.
- Retrieve and deliver calibrated items to their assigned location either manually or using hand truck. May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Desired Skills
- Prior experience as a tool room attendant.
- Strong people skills and good attention to detail.
- Ability to work alone from written procedures & industry standards.
- Experience in an aircraft maintenance and modification environment.
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Sound critical thinking skills.
