Our client is seeking a
SharePoint Migration Analyst (Calgary- Hybrid) to perform the requirements-gathering and validation stages, working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be responsible for attending department-specific meetings, defining migration needs, validating implementations, leading testing efforts, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in business requirements and design sessions for department-by-department migrations.
- Analyze current SharePoint On-Prem and DFS configurations and define solutions for SharePoint Online.
- Validate site builds against specifications (e.g. metadata, content types, document libraries).
- Execute functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Track QA activities, bugs, and issues; facilitate resolution.
- Coordinate with PMs, architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Document outcomes and testing results for reporting and audit purposes.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in SharePoint Online migrations (enterprise-level projects preferred).
- Strong understanding of SharePoint Online concepts: metadata, content types, site architecture.
- Understanding of both BA and QA responsibilities in technology projects.
- Ability to perform functional testing and coordinate UAT processes

Familiarity with SharePoint workflows and validation of custom/non-custom builds

This role is designed to be equally split between Business Analysis and QA responsibilities.
