About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager to own end-to-end demand orchestration for our hotel booking platform. This role is responsible for planning, activating, and optimizing demand across channels by aligning marketing, supply, product, and analytics to drive bookings and revenue efficiently. The Demand Growth Manager is the single owner of demand strategy, ensuring the right users see the right message, offer, and inventory at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand Planning and Calendar Ownership
- Own the demand calendar to best channelize marketing communication, including:
- Seasonal travel peaks
- Festivals, long weekends, and market events
- Commercial campaigns (sales, loyalty pushes, promos)
- Product-led moments and launches
- Ensure campaigns are planned proactively, not reactively
- Act as the final owner of campaign prioritization
- Segmentation and Campaign Strategy
- Define demand-side segmentation, including:
- New v/s repeat users
- Loyalty tiers
- Price-sensitive vs convenience-driven users
- Destination and intent-based segments
- Decide:
- Which segments receive which campaigns
- Offer eligibility and targeting logic
- Frequency and sequencing of communications
- Work with marketing to translate strategy into:
- Email, push, in-app, whatsapp, paid communications
- Drive improvements in CTR, OTR, and downstream conversions
- Supply Aligned Campaigns and Commercial Levers
- Work closely with supply and sales teams to:
- Identify markets and hotels ready for demand acceleration
- Shape campaigns using discounts, inclusions and exclusive promotions
- Ensure availability, pricing, and competitiveness before demand is pushed
- Decide which supply is worth amplifying and when
- Offer & Discount Governance
- Own the strategy and guardrails for:
- Loyalty program benefits
- Coupons and cash discounts
- Payment offers like bank offers and stacked promotions
- Regularly review offer performance and long-term impact on pricing perception
- Partnering with Marketing, Product & CRO
- Work through the marketing team, which owns:
- Channel execution
- Creatives and messaging copy
- Channel-level CAC optimization
- Partner with Product to:
- Improve demand-facing surfaces (landing pages, discovery, checkout)
- Influence roadmap priorities that improve conversion
- Partner with CRO / analytics to:
- Identify funnel bottlenecks
- Design and evaluate experiments
- Measure incrementality and true business impact
- Performance Tracking & Decision-Making
- Own blended CAC and demand ROI
- Evaluate channel and campaign performance beyond surface-level metrics
- Clearly communicate
- What is working
- What should be scaled
- What should be stopped
- Provide clear data-backed recommendations to leadership
Experience & Skills Required
- 6–10 years of experience in Demand Growth, Growth Strategy or related roles.
- Experience owning campaign strategy and revenue outcomes, not just execution
- Understanding of segmentation, lifecycle marketing, commercial levers
- Experience in a marketplace, travel-tech, consumer internet is a strong plus.
- Analytical mindset, comfortable with data and experimentation
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- MBA is optional but preferred.
