Do you want to play an active role in maintaining high safety standards within a growing airline?
We are looking for a Safety Officer – CAMO to join our Safety team. In this role, you will support safety management activities related to Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAMO) and contracted Part-145 organizations. You will play an important part in processing safety reports, supporting investigations, maintaining safety documentation, and contributing to the continuous development of our Safety Management System (SMS).
You will foster the development of safety culture throughout Norse, ensuring that employees comply with the company’s safety standards and simultaneously support a positive and productive work environment.
This is a full-time, office-based role located in Riga, Latvia.
Responsibilities and duties:
Managing Safety Occurrences related to CAMO and Contracted Part 145s;
Conducting Safety Investigations;
Producing safety related material and safety promotion documentation;
Monitoring Safety Performance Indicators related to Technical;
Attendance and coordination of Technical Safety Action Groups, Safety Risk Assessments and Risk Registry;
Communicating with, and providing feedback to internal and 3rd party providers;
Assisting in continuous development of the Company SMS;
Other safety related tasks.
What we're looking for:
Experience, knowledge, and/or willingness to learn about Aviation Management Systems and CAMO & Part 145 regulations, principles and procedures;
Basic knowledge of EASA / UK regulations related to CAMO & Part 145;
Basic understanding of Safety Management Systems;
Knowledge, understanding and embracement of Just Culture principles;
Excellent reporting skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work well on your own initiative with strong planning and task prioritization skills;
Good MS Word & Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint required and Power BI not required, but beneficial);
Fluency in spoken and written English for communication with colleagues and cooperation partners outside of Latvia.
