Job Purpose
The MRO Vendor Analyst supports the Head of Vendor Management and category managers by providing data-driven, cross-functional analysis throughout the entire supplier management lifecycle. The role focuses on performance monitoring, reporting, CATPLAN support, KPI and savings tracking, and dashboard development to ensure data accuracy, informed decision-making, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across all maintenance categories.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
Provide analytical and operational support across the full SPM lifecycle, covering sourcing, contract management, supplier performance, claims, and transformation initiatives for non-critical maintenance suppliers.
Identify, analyze, and track cost-saving and efficiency initiatives across all maintenance categories (line, heavy, and components), ensuring alignment with CATPLAN objectives.
Act as a key analytical partner to Category Managers and the Head of the area, delivering structured analyses, dashboards, and performance reports to support data-driven decision-making.
Monitor supplier performance, including SLAs, KPIs, cost deviations, savings validation, and potential claims, in close collaboration with technical and maintenance teams.
Support supplier risk assessment, monitoring, and mitigation, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives with non-critical vendors.
Prepare business cases, savings reports, and management presentations for internal stakeholders and senior management.
Coordinate with IAG GBS Procurement on data analysis, RFP support, and savings tracking related to non-critical suppliers.
Contribute to SPM digitalization initiatives, including CATPLAN support, dashboard development, reporting automation, and data quality improvement using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and
Tableau.

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience
Desirable experience in Airlines Maintenance areas, supplier management, procurement support, or contract administration, ideally within the aviation or related industry.
Desirable experience leading or supporting cross-functional projects involving technical, commercial and financial stakeholders
Competencies
Strong analytical, data-driven mindset with attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Advanced Excel skills and growing expertise in reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
Ability to create clear, structured reports and presentations for diverse stakeholders.
Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams including category management, technical, controlling, and procurement.
Proactive, results-oriented profile with a structured problem-solving approach and strong motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
