Key Responsibilities
Avionics System Assembly:
- Install and integrate avionics components into drone airframes according to engineering specifications.
- Ensure the proper routing of wiring harnesses, connectors, and other electrical components.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design changes and improvements.
Testing And Troubleshooting
- Conduct thorough functional tests of avionics systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to avionics components and systems.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and testing teams to address and resolve identified issues.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of avionics installation, testing procedures, and troubleshooting activities.
- Generate and update documentation for avionics systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and production staff, to achieve project goals.
- Provide input and feedback on avionics-related design considerations.
Compliance And Safety
- Ensure that avionics systems meet industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Stay informed about advancements in avionics technology and contribute to the continuous improvement of our drone systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with avionics installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with UAV systems and technology.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
