SATS Ltd The main task of the Warehouse Manager is to supervise the physical processing of freight and mail, both for import, export and transit. It is important that this is done flawlessly, considering deadlines. You ensure that all safety and quality procedures are applied and represent the company in contact with both internal and external stakeholders.
Main Activities
- Responsible for the operation of a large team (+ 80 employees)
- Responsible for checking goods, reporting damage and possibly carrying out weight checks
- You supervise the safety and hygiene regulations and the correct use of equipment
- You evaluate the Warehouse agents and guide new employees in their onboarding period. Annual evaluation of the employees is also part of your duties.
- Personnel planning of the shift and distributes the tasks with a view to optimal returns.
- Helping out in production when necessary.
- You follow instructions from customers closely. You apply these with the aim of achieving a 0% margin of error.
- Setting up and monitoring projects with a view to operational optimization. Afterwards, it is up to you to carry out evaluations on this.
- KPI follow-up
- Analyzing new market trends with continuous improvement
- Complaint management
- Handle customer requests and questions
- You act as a point of contact between warehouse and office to ensure that the work runs smoothly
- Organize meetings with the warehouse deputy and team leaders.
PROFILE
- Bachelor's/Master's degree
- At least 10 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics or transport
- Strong trilingual (NL+FR+ENG)
- In possession of a valid driving license B
