Collins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a
Contracts Manager in the
Military Landing Systems portfolio within the
Advanced Structures Business Unit. In this job, you will be responsible for the guidance, management, and administration of a diverse portfolio of contracts within the
Military Landing Systems business. The portfolio will include Firm Fixed Price contracts split between an established and growing product base. Additionally, this role will support the various phases of the program lifecycle which may include development, sustainment, and integration with both DoD and Prime customers.
This is an
individual contributor position well suited for a highly motivated, well-organized person who enjoys working in an exciting, collaborative team environment. Your responsibilities will include developing creative approaches to solving problems and mitigating risks to the company while employing effective communication skills.

What You Will Do:
- Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts execution, as well as general contract administration.
- Collaborate with the Contracts Lead, Program Directors, Senior Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Proposal Manager, Business/Estimating and Supply Chain to construct, submit and negotiate proposals.
- Must be able to recognize business and contractual issues in program performance implement solutions; carry to completion, while exercising good judgment with minimal supervision
- Support program management and execution reviews.
- Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies.
- Provide sound guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual/program risks.
- Prepare and support Commercial Item Determinations in accordance with FAR 12 guidelines.
- Support and manage licenses and rights for the use of Collins Aerospace intellectual property, including ensuring compliance with government data rights and marking requirements where applicable
- You will travel up to 15%
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
- Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) and related government regulations and contracts
- Experience with negotiation and administration of contracts and/or subcontracts
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Relevant degrees in contracts/law/supply chain/finance and advanced degrees such as Juris Doctor, J.D. or MBA
- Defense Production Act Title III experience working with advanced aerospace components through OTA's for Capital and Facility Improvements.
- Experience supporting contracts across multiple programs at once
- Experience with Firm Fixed Price contracts, contractual risk mitigation and change management
- Experience in contract & financial structures such as pricing strategies, policy & procedure and / or compliance principles
- Familiarity with Intellectual Property, license agreements, teaming agreements, and Export/Import

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
