The Technical Writer will develop, revise, and maintain critical Flight Operations Manuals such as MEL, FCOM, AFM, and QRH. The role involves close coordination with Flight Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory functions to ensure high-quality, compliant, and accurate documentation.
The candidate must also be capable of participating in discussions with aviation regulatory authorities during MEL approval processes.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent or AME. 1-2 Year Experience in aviation technical documentation.
- Experience with manufacturer flight operations manuals (Airbus, Boeing, ATR, etc.).
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks/Requirements (DGCA, FAA, EASA)

Skill Set
- Proficiency in XML/SGML authoring tools (e.g., Arbortext, FrameMaker Structured, Oxygen XML).
- Strong MS Office capabilities.
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, flight deck operations, and OEM manuals (MEL, FCOM, AFM, QRH).
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements from DGCA/FAA/EASA.
- Technical analytical skills to interpret engineering drawings, SBs, ADs, AMM content, CAR, AD, MPM, Manuals.
