Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of aviation-related laws, regulations, and standards. Ensure the airline's operations, policies, and procedures comply with these requirements.
- Assist in the creation, review, and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and rectify compliance issues. Develop action plans for compliance improvement.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for airline staff. Foster a culture of compliance awareness throughout the organization.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required. Maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
- Participate in internal investigations related to compliance matters and recommend corrective actions.
- Assess and mitigate compliance-related risks, including monitoring changes in laws and regulations that may affect the airline.
- Work closely with various departments, including operations, finance, and human resources, to ensure compliance across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in compliance are a plus.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in compliance, preferably in the airline industry or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, such as FAA and IATA standards is a huge plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of integrity and ethics.
