Job Description
Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high capacity air charter and RPT services. We operate a fleet of jet aircraft. From our base at Perth Airport, we specialise in mining industry support, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying. As the
Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for proactively managing the F100 and E190 fleet reliability program to optimise fleet and component performance whilst ensuring that the Approved Maintenance Program (AMP) remains effective.
You will be working within the Fleet Reliability and Maintenance Programs Team who provide Continuing Airworthiness Management services to Network Aviation to ensure that desired OTP standards are maintained or exceeded. You will manage the aircraft Reliability program, co-ordinate reliability initiatives, assist in the management of the maintenance program and assess modifications that ensure the fleet continues to maintain the safety record of the organisation, improving the fleet operational performance, all whilst optimising the operating cost of the fleet.
You’ll have –
- Strong demonstrated skills in problem solving and analytical thinking, both individually and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- The ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with quality standards and statistical analysis methods.
- The ability to make sound decisions, even when presented with incomplete or uncertain data.
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple conflicting deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- The ability to utilise data analytics and visualisation tools to obtain useful insights from the large datasets.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages is desirable, e.g. SQL, Python, Microsoft Suite applications.
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification, Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
