The Boeing Company’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) organization is currently seeking a Senior Information Technology Business Partner to join our Boeing Defense (BDS) team to support Mission Systems in Huntington Beach, CA.
A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will work directly with program engineers, senior leadership, and Information Technology (IT) Infrastructures teams to develop and implement IT solutions helping to meet their organizational goals.
This position will include oversight across Information Technologies activities including infrastructure design and administration, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis. The selected candidate will develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guide the development of the program’s technical strategies, goals, objectives. They will also acquire resources for organizational activities, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead liaison activities between the business or function and IT and related organizations to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure business objectives are met
- Lead the education of the Business on IT service offerings
- Collaborate directly with business or function to understand problems or initiatives, and represent the business or function within IT to engage the right resources, explore alternatives and help deploy the right solution with first time quality
- Lead development and execution of communication plans, including status to leadership and to business or function stakeholders
- Identify risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments
- Provide input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques, and ensure alignment to quality management solutions for the business or function
- Oversee dollars spent, funding, and affordability in support of business unit(s) or function(s)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of experience leading project teams to meet project objectives and deliverables
- 10+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and/or support IT project plans and schedules
- Experience working with Senior and Executive IT & Business Leadership
- Experience with Financial Data (i.e. accounting, financial planning, cost management)
- Experience with IT products and services
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Kanban, etc.) and agile project management tools (JIRA, TFS, VersionOne, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active U.S. Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Experience with Cybersecurity, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) and system accreditation
- Experience communicating with both internal and external customers

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $158,950 – $215,050
