Roles And Responsibilities
Oversee the maintenance and operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the efficient operation of facilities and equipment.
Manage vendor contracts and relationships for maintenance, repairs, and other facility services.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Develop and manage the facility budget, including forecasting and cost control measures.
Coordinate office moves, renovations, and construction projects as needed.
Supervise a team of maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.
Implement sustainable practices and initiatives to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
Provide regular reports to senior management on facility operations, budget performance, and project status.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in facility management, preferably in a commercial or corporate setting.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with sustainable practices and green building principles.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
