What’s The Role All About?
The role involves 24/7 planning and coordination of aircraft movements, such as towing operations from the hangar to terminal bay area, repositioning aircraft from gates to remote parking bays and hangar and managing utilization of contingency parking areas. This role requires close coordination with the NNIC AICCC to ensure aircraft parking is always available before the arrival of incoming flights. Additionally, it ensures that every departing flight has an available bay, considering the required ground time and security requirements, to maintain operational efficiency and minimize delays.
- Graduate of engineering course, preferably industrial engineering
- Open to candidates with at least two years of relevant work experience
- Experience in collaborating with internal or external stakeholders
- Strong analytics skills and can demonstrate leadership capabilities and a collaborative team player
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and escalate issues when necessary
Major Responsibility Areas
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management and control of aircraft parking at the PAL Aircraft Parking Area
- Oversees the aircraft parking bay management of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 operations of PAL and PALex
- Coordinates with NNIC AICCC for Rest Overnight (RON) slots of First Flights Out (FFO)
- Ensures that all bay management movements are in conformance with regulatory and company requirements, rules, regulations, policies, and standard
- Assists and communicates with the Maintenance group in coordination of the necessary equipment and facility for the seamless towing of aircraft in a timely manner
- Formulates solutions to optimize bay utilization at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2
