Ø Selection Criteria / Qualification:
- 10-15 years of training experience in English language / Communication Skills / Voice and Accent Training
- Experience of TTT / Mentoring / Supervision / Line Management and Training Quality Management
DESIRABLE
- Master’s Degree in English Language Teaching / Language Assessment
- CELTA, DELTA, Cert. TESOL or other recognised English Language Teaching (ELT) qualifications.
- Experience of language proficiency assessment preferred (IELTS, CEFR placement testing, PTE, TOEFL)
- Experience with Aviation English language training/assessment
- Experience with content writing, creative writing, copy writing
- Experience with customer facing operations e.g. hospitality, aviation,
- Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Communication Training Delivery- Conduct periodic training needs analyses for voice skills across all departments
- Develop and rollout timely as well as effective, innovative training solutions to address the above stated gaps across IFS and AO&CS
- Illustrate needle movement w.r.t trainee capability on communication skills post-training (via certification)
- Supervise talent pool development through Pre-Hire Communication skills training (as required)
- Conduct communication skills training for the flight operations team (as required and planned with them)
- Execute and monitor corrective developments and action plans for customer facing teams
- Be available to the human resources recruitment team for preliminary interview phases for cabin attendants and airport operations
Aviation English Language Proficiency (AELP) Training & Testing
- Coordinating and supervising Aviation English Testing Operations
- Maintain the reputation and integrity of AELP assessment procedures and policies.
- Manage information created and received in compliance with organisational policies and DGCA CARs
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage trainer performance
- Contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of aviation English language training programs and materials in order to meet trainees’ requirements as an active collaborative member of the training team.
- Complete training related administrative tasks to specified timelines and standards.
- Actively engage in professional development to ensure quality and high standards in aviation English training and learning to identify and incorporate best practices in the field.
People Management- Lead and manage a team of communication trainers.
- Engage team members and creating healthy relationships with and among them to create a quality learning environment.
Content Development
- Draft and/ or edit/approve written content for customer communications
