What You’ll Do
As a
Route Performance Analyst, you’ll step straight into the engine room of Qantas’ commercial decision‑making. You’ll dive into shaping the strategic direction and longterm revenue performance of our networks, using bold transformation initiatives and sharp market insights to supercharge revenue, profitability and commercial outcomes. You’ll play an impactful role developing pricing, inventory and commercial strategies across key routes, identifying new and creative revenue opportunities to test and learn, leading high-impact analysis and influencing major business decisions. Working side by side with senior commercial leaders, you’ll play a pivotal role in steering route strategy and pushing performance to new heights.
What You’ll Bring
You’re not just technically strong, you’re commercially curious, creatively minded and ready to move fast. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Exceptional conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and tell a compelling story
- Strong commercial acumen, sound judgement and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Confidence working with forecasting, statistics, optimisation, elasticity and consumer behaviour
- A growth mindset; you like change, challenge and continuous improvement
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- 3–5 years’ experience in analytical or revenue-focused roles
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Aviation or another quantitative field
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability plus excellent communication skills
