As an Accessory Shop Technician, you will be responsible for rebuilding Aircraft wheel assemblies. You will perform component replacement in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, SkyWest GMM, and under the direction and supervision of the maintenance department in the interest of flight safety.

Primary Job DutiesAs an Accessory Shop Technician you will be responsible for component maintenance and repair. Perform component maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer maintenance manuals, SkyWest GMM, and established shop procedures in the interest of flight safety.
- You will be responsible to become familiar with and understand the GMM
- You are responsible for your assigned work area in the shop to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazards
- Keep tools and support equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition at all times
- You will be required to wear eye and ear protection as necessary to safeguard sight and hearing while using tools or operating machinery
- Available to work any shift and overtime if necessary
Minimum Requirements- Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
- Able to pass a preplacement background check and drug screen
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Read, write, and understand English
- Have mechanical experience and or aptitude
- Work well with others
- Willing to work any shift assigned (Four 10 Hour Shifts) Days of the week to be determined
- Willing to work weekend shifts when needed
Education
- High School Diploma, GED or education equivalent required
Physical and Other Requirements- Be able to lift 75 lbs. from the floor to chest height with or without reasonable accommodation
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- This is a full-time position
- Pay for this position will be $17.00
