About the team you are joining
The IATA
Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Program Office is responsible for the design,
delivery, and continuous improvement of the IOSA Program, the airline
industry’s benchmark for operational safety oversight. This highly skilled team
ensures the ongoing integrity, consistency, and effectiveness of the program,
working closely with airlines, auditors, regulators and other industry
stakeholders. You will report to the HEad, IOSA and will be part of a collaborative group dedicated to
maintaining IOSA’s position as the leading global aviation safety audit
program.
What your day would be like
In this
role, you will lead the full lifecycle management of the IOSA auditor pool,
ensuring auditors consistently meet program needs and delivers high‑quality
results. You will play a key role in sustaining auditor capability,
performance, and readiness as the IOSA program continues to mature worldwide. Your
responsibilities include:
Strategic auditor workforce
planning to ensure sufficient capacity and discipline coverage across the
IOSA program worldwide.
Recruitment of new auditors,
including initial qualification assessments, coordination with Training and
oversight to ensure efficient onboarding process.
Ongoing auditor qualification
management to ensure compliance with IOSA program requirements.
Administering a robust auditor management program, leveraging quality data and other performance insights to ensure auditors operate at the highest standards.
Ongoing program improvement and
modernization, ensuring systems, tools, and processes are fit for purpose
and remain relevant to changing industry dynamics.
Supporting strategic
initiatives for IOSA or other IATA programs.
We would love to hear from you if
7+ years’ experience in a
highly regulated, safety‑critical industry is required; airline
operational experience is preferred.
Experience managing technical
experts, such as auditors or inspectors; IOSA, ISAGO or other aviation-related
auditor management experience is preferred.
Strong familiarity with competency‑based
assessments, quality or other performance oversight systems.
Excellent communication and
stakeholder‑engagement skills, with confidence representing IOSA and IATA’s
vision.
Excellent English language
skills; additional languages are an advantage.
Strong organizational abilities
and proficiency with MS Office tools.
Project management knowledge or
experience is beneficial.
