Equipment Management
• Oversee the procurement and deployment of warehouse equipment, including ASRS, ETV, ULD hoist, VNA, Tugs, forklifts, conveyors, HPT, and other machinery.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all warehouse equipment, along with detailed records of purchases, maintenance, and repairs.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source spare parts and additional equipment as needed.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend operational lifespan.
Maintenance and Repairs
• Ensure regular inspections and servicing of warehouse equipment to maintain optimal performance.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs.
• Coordinate with external service providers or in-house maintenance teams for effective repair and servicing.
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Equipment Safety
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across warehouse operations, ensuring all employees are trained in safe equipment handling.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols for equipment use, including guidelines for proper storage and handling.
Budget and Cost Control
• Manage the budget for equipment maintenance and repairs, prioritizing cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
• Track and monitor equipment-related expenses, providing regular financial reports to management
Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain comprehensive records for equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspection schedules.
• Generate reports detailing equipment performance, downtime incidents, and associated maintenance costs.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes by providing insights into future equipment needs.
Qualification
• Education – Bachelor’s degree in any field
• 4-6 years of work experience out of which at least 3 years of work experience in same capacity in reputed organizations
