Job Summary:
The Qualification Engineering Intern supports the engineering team with product testing and documentation activities for hardware and software systems. This role assists with lab setup, data collection, and report preparation to help demonstrate product performance and compliance. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a test lab environment while working closely with engineers across multiple disciplines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support engineers with preparation and execution of qualification and performance testing
- Assist with collecting and organizing test data during lab activities
- Help set up test equipment and basic lab configurations under supervision
- Support development and formatting of test procedures and test reports
- Participate in engineering and pre-qualification testing activities
- Assist with tracking test schedules and documenting progress
- Help coordinate lab materials, equipment, and documentation
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate coursework
- Exposure to engineering lab work through coursework, academic projects, or prior internships
- Basic understanding of engineering fundamentals and testing concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings or technical documentation
The compensation for this position will be $24.00-$25.00 per hour.
