Job Description:
Provide for the implementation and on-going support of integrations related to Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Finance and Airline Operations. Partner and collaborate closely with internal departments from Finance, HR, Payroll, Compensation to meet company goals. Evaluate current and future technologies in anticipation of evolving business needs and direction. Identify and optimize operational, financial, and technological processes and investments to bring about change. Provide integration and related workflow solutions during the Workday implementation and ongoing usage. Deliver on-going technical support of integrations including testing during Workday releases. Perform full life cycle software development activities. Perform necessary investigations, analyses, and evaluations to determine project feasibility. Lead the effort in providing technical solutions to business problems. Identify, create and facilitate process design changes. Estimate and plan development work; track and report on task progress; deliver work on schedule. Provide production support including on-call. Perform regular application, systems and data administration tasks, monitor results, recommend and implement automated solutions. Process new software releases and/or patches and documentation. Work within a structured development environment that includes Agile development methodology, version control, unit testing, creating builds/ implementation plans and design/ peer reviews, and other structured development practices. Collaborate with other technical staff to lead research, evaluate, develop, test and implement new and/or currently unused functional and technical solutions to enhance the value of business systems. Evaluate current and future leveragability of new functionality in anticipation of changing/evolving business needs. Facilitate and/or participate in functional and technical solution reviews with management and business representatives. Assist with IT-related PCI and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements including control assessments (audits) and documentation requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience with Workday implementation and integration.
- Additional skills or experience must include:
- Workday integration experience in HCM software suite using Workday Core Connector, Enterprise Interface Builder, and Studio.
- Collaboration with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Management of open enrollment and sending files to third-party vendors for integrations.
- Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues quickly and providing production support.
- Performance of regular system audits to ensure data integrity and security.
- Maintenance of thorough documentation for system implementation and integration processes.
- Testing Workday's bi-annual releases (R1 and R2) and completing integration testing successfully.
- Creation of test cases and helping users with testing, including UAT, performance testing, and smoke testing.
- Understanding of HR and Finance processes and policies including employee onboarding, workplace conduct, financial reporting, payroll management, and procurement and vendor management.
- May work remotely. Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
