JOB DESCRIPTION
– FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Leads
successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of HVAC or low
voltage equipments and systems without direct supervision. You will follow
detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions
with help of Engineering teams. You will make improvements to training guides
and documentation. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives in the
field to quickly lix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and
installation of proper equipment. If necessary, you will train the customer on
proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for HVAC equipment.
JOB ACTIVITIES
- HVAC Control systems work experience or Low Voltage systems (fire, security, CCTV, etc)
- Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment
- Control of field equipment installation & cabling
- Carry out design works, programming of HVAC controllers
- Install server, prepare graphics and necessary programming works as per specifications
- Report possible future failures, disturbances and other opportunities for improvement
- Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by team leader
- Carry out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks as per company policy and procedures.
- Report near misses, incidents and other opportunities for improvement.
DESIRABLE
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Associates degree or technical trade school diploma
- Strong fault-finding skills and ability to interact and build relationships with customers
- Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of Honeywell products to develop solutions that meet customer’s requirements
- Good communication both written and verbal
- The ability to work under pressure
- Strong commitment to safety and safe working environment
- A team player
- Valid driver’s license
