Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields
- Preferably 1+ years experience in aviation
- Familiar with document and report preparation
- Analytical thinking, result and solution oriented approaches
- High job motivation and interest and attention for details
- Team oriented and open to continuous progress
- Capable of taking responsibility, making decision, and implementing,
- May take initiative when required
- Being familiar with ICAO, EASA-OPS documents and Turkish DGCA procedures related to safety.
- Good command of computer literacy,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
- Residing or may reside in Anatolian side of Istanbul
In this role you will
- Ensure that correspondence is carried out with national and international authorities and internal company correspondence on safety-related issues.
- Attend meetings organized by the Safety Department and following up on action items.
- Prepare and follow up on the Safety Department's entire activity calendar.
- Take part in the Safety Department's SHGM, EASA, ISO, IOSA audit preparations.
- Follow up on action plans prepared as a result of national and international audits.
- Prepare, keep up-to-date and follow up on training performance for SMS distance trainings.
- Follow up-to-dateness and training performance of SMS face-to-face training.
- Carry out all necessary procedures such as planning, informing and following up on national and international organizations (meetings, conferences, trainings, etc.) related to safety.
- Inform the Safety and Security Group Presidency by following up on regulator updates.
- Attend relevant documentation meetings organized by the Compliance Monitoring Department to ensure that SMM remains in compliance with the legislation and company documents.
- Check all relevant documents to ensure compliance between company documents while revising the Safety Management System Manual and fulfilling the responsibilities of ensuring and maintaining SMM's compliance with the legislation as specified in SMM.
- Update the documents managed within the scope of the Safety Management System through the company documentation system
- Update the Safety Management System Manual (SMM) through SHGM documentation and company documentation system.
- Assist the Safety and Security Group President in preparing IT, CAPEX, Finance and Training budgets.
- Work in accordance with the articles specified in PG-EY-TL-002 in the management systems roles and responsibilities instruction.
