Associate Director, OLDP – Program Manager | Operations Leadership Development Program
What You Will Do
Program Delivery & Operations
- Lead the day-to-day management and operational delivery of the Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP), supporting 140+ associates across RTX businesses.
- Execute program processes including rotation scheduling, onboarding, learning events, performance management coordination, and off-placement into full-time roles.
- Ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for participants across rotational assignments and program milestones.
Functional Learning & Development
- Own the design and delivery of functional learning experiences aligned to Operations capability needs.
- Partner with functional leaders and subject matter experts to develop and deliver training that strengthens participants’ technical and operational capabilities.
- Ensure functional learning complements the enterprise leadership development curriculum established by RTX Learning & Development.
Enterprise Alignment & Governance
- Partner closely with the RTX Learning & Development team, which defines the enterprise leadership development framework and common program elements across rotational programs.
- Execute leadership development programming and shared program components in alignment with enterprise standards and governance.
- Contribute insights and recommendations to support the ongoing evolution of rotational programs within the broader L&D ecosystem.
Rotational Experience & Talent Development
- Oversee the design and coordination of rotational assignments across RTX businesses to ensure meaningful development opportunities and exposure to key operational capabilities.
- Monitor the quality and developmental rigor of assignments through ongoing engagement with associates and assignment managers.
- Provide coaching and developmental guidance to program participants throughout their rotations.
Talent Pipeline & Recruiting
- Partner with RTX Talent Acquisition and University Relations teams to attract and hire top early-career talent from target universities and programs.
- Maintain relationships with key university partners and represent RTX and the OLDP at recruiting events and campus engagements.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Collaborate with Operations leaders, HR Business Partners, and assignment managers to ensure rotational assignments align with business priorities and workforce capability needs.
- Communicate program updates, participant progress, and outcomes to key stakeholders.
Program Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze program metrics including participant performance, retention, placement outcomes, and leadership pipeline impact.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen program operations, functional learning, and the overall participant experience.
- Support the ongoing evolution of rotational programs as RTX continues to mature its enterprise leadership development ecosystem.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
- Prior experience managing complex programs, initiatives, or operations involving multiple stakeholders.
- Prior program and project management skills with the ability to coordinate work across organizations.
- Experience in talent development, leadership development, campus programs, or workforce initiatives.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for developing campus talent and building leadership pipelines.
- Experience in Operations or Supply Chain environments.
- Prior leadership experience in a leadership development or rotational program.
- Experience working in a large, complex, matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with workforce planning, talent development strategy, or leadership pipeline programs.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
