Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Responsible for the resolution of process customer’s enquiry & providing quotation in meeting customer’s need and ensuring Service Level is met at all time. Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, work as a team in ensuring efficient delivery of customer service and supply chain process. Working through distribution channels and sales team, and processing of customer’s enquiry, RFQ, quotes follow-up, handle quality return, and ensure timely logistical processing of product delivery..
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle enquiries from customers via calls and emails.
- Prepare ITO by working closely with Global team, ASEAN sales manager, Pricing Team to ensure quote win.
- Penetrate new market shares whenever opportunity arise.
- Address customer’s price inquiries, check stock availabilities, provide prices/quotes, and follow-up on potential orders and price negotiation.
- Clarify policies and procedures such as condition of sales and pricing structure.
- Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date; explaining stock outs. Offer alternative by working closely with ASEAN Sales Manager, Product Sales manager, Global Account Manager & Divisions, if any
- Provide timely “Open Order Report” to customers via excel and customers portal.
- Review customer demand and forecasts (SvD). Work closely with Parker planner & customers if stocking program is recommended to support business growth or needs.
- Liaise closely with Buyers on delivery and backlog summary.
- Address customer goods return due to quality reject, claims and communicate with Quality on rejects & resolution.
- Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommend improved policies and procedures.
- Regular meet up with customers to review any new NPI/ projects, market situation, forecast demands, orders and deliveries (both physical and virtual meeting).
- Submit customers qualification form/PR for alternative or requalification via customer portal if any.
- Compilation with accuracy of sales report with risk management.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Business Administration.
- At least 2 years of relevant sales and customer service experience.
- Prefer to have supply chain experience with working knowledge in industrial sales.
- Good interpersonal communication skills and computer knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the described role and responsibilities and obtain the desired results.
- Independent, organized & experience of operating in a matrix organization preferred.
- People oriented personality and be able to work in a team effectively.
