Job Title: Planning and Delivery Leader

As a Planning and delivery leader for Rolls-Royce, you’ll play an integral role in the preparation, planning, issuing and controlling production schedules along with coordinating material requirements, to ensure a controlled flow for approved materials is timed to meet production.

What you will be doing:
- Scheduling equipment and personnel
- Confirming material supply and demands
- Preparing work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirement
- Coordinating interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.
- Scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders
- Must be willing to traveling up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally

Basic Requirements:
- Associate’s degree with 4+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing, OR
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing, OR
- Master's degree, OR
- JD/PhD, OR
- 6+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing in lieu of a degree
- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Preferred Requirements:
- Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) experience
- Experience with project management
- Experience collaborating with various departments
