Primary Job DutiesSeeking a high energy individual with a passion for working in a busy environment. The SkyWest Travel Center is seeking a friendly, positive individual, who must be able to multi-task. We need someone with an excitement for travel who understands the travel industry and has a desire to promote this valuable privilege to our employees. The individual must be extremely efficient while handling multiple phone calls, walk-in traffic and ticket processing.
- Positively promote SkyWest travel privileges to all employees
- Communicate effectively to educate employees to travel privileges and offer travel-related advice through multiple avenues, phone, chat, emails, forums, presentations, and person to person
- Eager to learn, review and assist with travel policy and procedures
- Maintain detailed logs of employee travel questions/issues
- Maintain information in SkyWest's Travel Authorization system for eligible employee travelers
- Write travel bulletins and articles for SkyWest Online
- Process travel requests for company and business including flights, hotels and car reservations
- Communicate and work with representatives from other airlines
- Process emergency travel requests
- Some involvement with SkyWest People Programs events
- Some work-related travel may be required
- Various administrative projects
- Tracking and recording work and compiling quarterly reports using that data
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements- Strong customer service skills required
- Interact and cultivate positive relationships with departments and frontline employees
- Proficient, professional communication skills including telephone, email and online chats
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Airline reservation system experience a plus
- Quick learner, who can adapt to change easily
- Strong understanding of SkyWest policies and procedures
- Works well with others, works well in a very open team environment
- Open to feedback and can adapt to change
- Present in front of groups of people
- Ability to multi-task
- Flexible schedule to work some holidays
Physical and Other Requirements- This is a part time, in-office position paying $14/hr
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
