Service Engineer - Technical Help Desk (f/m/d)
Full-time | 24/7 shift rotation on a 2-shift model

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Technical Helpdesk as a Service Engineer (f/m/d) here at Rolls-Royce Deutschland. What you will be doing
- provide technical support to help resolve technical queries and operational arisings as part of the Aircraft Availability Centre,
- ensure compliance in accordance with aerospace standards,
- adhere to technical and business requirements of internal & external stakeholders,
- provide assurance on instructed maintenance activities,
- prepare and deliver technical communications to customers and internal stakeholders,
- support Investigation of operational issues to develop containment, establish root cause and recommend corrective actions,
- develop and approve the technical content of technical publications/ communications,
- identify in service cost reduction opportunities by reviewing and maintaining life cycle engineering policies and any associated maintenance planning documentation.

To be successful in this role you will need to:
- have an Engineering degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent professional experience,
- have excellent interpersonal and communication skills towards peers, customers, and senior management,
- have good knowledge of functionality and operation of gas turbine engine components and systems,
- have experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution,
- be familiar with the in-service operational environment, including regulatory and compliance requirements preferable,
- have Experience in support of cross-functional teams e.g. specialists, suppliers, customers and partners,
- be able to work on a 24/7 shift rotation, following a 2-shift model,
- be fluent in English (spoken and written).
