The Ramp Service Clerk is responsible for safely and efficiently supporting airport cargo operations during seasonal or temporary peak periods. This role focuses on the loading and unloading of cargo, freight, and company materials on and off aircraft, as well as the transport of cargo between terminals, warehouses, and aircraft. The position also handles ramp transfers, receiving and delivering freight, and completing all required documentation to ensure accurate processing of shipments.
The Ramp Service Clerk follows all WFS site security procedures and remains alert to staff, contractors, and visitors to ensure compliance with the facility’s security plan. Any security concerns, breaches, or suspicious activities must be reported immediately to management or through the WFS whistleblower program. This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement and is classified as a seasonal/temporary role.
