Our client is seeking an Engineering Analyst to support
pipeline integrity assessment and management for Enhanced Distribution Integrity Management Program assets.
Must Have skills
- Engineering degree. Preference in order
- Chemical
- Mechanical
- Material
- Civil
- 3+ years experience as a Engineering
- Experience in pipeline engineering, pipeline integrity, gas transmission or distribution operations
- Experience and understanding of pipeline design, construction practices, field operations, and non-destructive inspection methods for natural gas pipelines.
- Excellent Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets
- Strong project management skills
Nice to Have skills
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or Canadian jurisdiction.
- Understanding of regulatory expectations from bodies such as the Ontario Energy Board and Technical Standards and Safety Authority.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and complete integrity plans for Enhanced DIMP assets.
- Perform integrity assessments using available asset and operational data.
- Identify, investigate, assess, and prioritize hazards for mitigation.
- Assess asset condition, fitness-for-service, and operational risk.
- Develop Enhanced DIMP documentation following internal processes and practices.
- Support continuous improvement of the Enhanced DIMP program through reviews, validations, assessments, and documentation updates.
- Support development and review of risk model inputs related to Enhanced DIMP assets.
- Work with stakeholders to create and complete risk mitigation scenarios and strategies.
- Prepare technical materials and provide technical support on distribution asset integrity matters.
