As a
Turn Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth coordination and communication between various departments, both above and below the wing, to consistently meet on-time performance targets. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Precision Timing Schedule (PTS), working closely with all parties involved in Qantas departures. You will monitor and oversee aircraft turns, ensuring timely and efficient operations, while providing accurate and up-to-date information to the Qantas Duty Manager. Additionally, you will offer coaching and support to teams involved in Qantas departures as needed and identify and escalate any recurring issues or trends that may impact on-time performance to the Qantas leadership team. If you possess strong aviation experience and excellent stakeholder management skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
You’ll have –
- 10 years’ experience in airport operations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage others
- Extensive customer service experience
- Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proven leadership experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Significant experience in stakeholder management
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- A degree in Leadership Studies or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work shifts across a 7-day roster
