Guide and lead team members using SWA talent management practices to coach, develop, and engage employees

Responsibilities
Direct Finance department in areas of sales accounting, passenger revenue accounting, including business partner accounting, corporate accounting and financial reporting
Accountable for all major technology projects and system activities impacting these areas
Direct process for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley related to internal controls for business processes within the above areas
Present findings and specific recommendations to SVP, Controller
Provide leadership, direction, and ownership of Continuous Improvement activities and automation opportunities impacting the areas noted
Provide guidance to and is a resource for all Company departments with regards to the impact of technical accounting rules and concepts to business processes, projects, and strategies executed
Follow, interpret, and incorporate proposed and newly adopted accounting pronouncements, including determining their impact on the Company and full implementation into the business when applicable
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Experience
Demonstrated experience leading multiple teams or functions through subordinate Leaders
Advanced level Business Acumen in functional area with understanding of broad business impacts
Expansive and far-reaching knowledge in:
Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information
