E-Learning and Content Development Specialist is available in Columbus, OH. The Learning and Development Specialist will design and create instructional materials grounded in sound educational theory. They will utilize the best practices in technology, while developing multimedia e-learning and/or instructor-led learning solutions. This position will be responsible for applying the fundamental principles of ISD to all learning solutions assigned (i.e., instructor-led training, eLearning, webinars, job aids, reference guides, etc.).
The E-Learning and Content Development Specialist will execute learning strategies and programs. Evaluate individual and organizational development needs. Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training). Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other trainings. Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities. Help managers develop their team members through career pathing. This position will have some travel and report to the Director of Training.

Your Responsibilities:
What you will be doing
- Training needs analysis
- Writing Syllabuses for courses
- Developing, editing, and updating:
- Interactive eLearning courses
- Classroom course material and supplements
- Writing exams and quizzes
- Working with subject matter experts to develop material
- Creating graphics, animations, videos, audio clips
- Reviewing material and generating learning reports
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 3 years relevant experience, OR a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 3 years
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Advanced working knowledge of Instructional System Design (i.e., ADDIE, SAM, and/or Agile) and Adult Learning Theory.
- Expertise in developing eLearning courses using Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline 360.
- 3+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Character Animator, Audition, Media Encoder).
- Experience work developing complex interactive scenarios and gamification.
- Manga & Anime experience
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite products with primary focus on Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of industry learning standards such as SCORM, AICC and xAPI
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, development of eLearning and instructor-led training solutions in a corporate or educational environment.
- Training evaluation and data analysis experience.
- Knowledge of the aviation industry is preferred.
- Video editing and production experience a plus
- Instructional Design Certification from an accredited institution
