Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Organization is seeking a USAF E-7A Mission Systems Radar and Electronic Warfare Self-Protection (EWSP) Engineer (Experienced or Lead) to join the Mission Systems team in Tukwila, WA.
The Mission Systems team is responsible for the design, development, procurement, and integration of the full Mission Systems capability on the E-7 aircraft. Specifically, this role will support the EWSP capability on the aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as a subsystem Equipment Manager for part of the aircraft mission system, including responsibility for procurement and integration activities.
Plan and execute testing and validation to ensure that system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
Manage supplier technical relationships with both external (commercial and government) and internal suppliers.
Solve problems that emerge during test and production of the aircraft.
Provide onsite support to integration activities in labs and at aircraft modification sites in the Continental US and overseas.
Support system development for the next generation of Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Tukwila, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
3+ years related technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years experience in avionics, communication equipment or other electronics systems integration or development
3+ years experience working across cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
3+ years experience with developing, managing and working with complex system requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years related technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working as an avionics or electronics equipment manager or working with the FAA to qualify equipment
Hardware qualification or laboratory test experience
Experience working with the United States Department of Defense (DOD) or foreign armed services as a customer
Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Experienced: $119,850 - $162,150
Lead: $146,200 - $197,800
