Description
We are recruiting for Supplier Onboarding Analyst in Ahmedabad, India.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and data quality standards. This role supports procurement efficiency by maintaining accurate supplier records and facilitating smooth integration into systems.
Accountabilities
- Review and validate supplier information (legal name, tax details, banking information, contact details).
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of mandatory fields before approval.
- Create and maintain supplier profiles in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
- Ensure proper classification (e.g.; supplier type, category codes).
- Collect and store required documents (contracts, certificates, tax forms).
- Maintain audit trails for all onboarding activities.
- Liaise with Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams for approvals and clarifications.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve data or documentation issues.
- Track and resolve onboarding issues within SLA timelines.
- Escalate systemic problems to Supplier Master Data Lead.
- Perform due diligence checks (e.g., credit, regulatory compliance).
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Identify process gaps and recommend automation or workflow enhancements.
- Support initiatives to improve supplier onboarding experience and compliance.
- Perform other department duties related to his/ her position as directed by Head of Department.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years of related experience
- Experience in data management, with at least 1 year in supplier master data management role.
- Good understanding of supplier master data management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding and exposure to data management systems and enterprise solutions.
- Experience with data governance and MDM tools and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a structured project environment.
- Expertise in Oracle EBS, Fusion and/or MDM tools.
