Description
Qatar Airways is recruiting for the role of
Accountant – Taxation based at our Global Business Services (GBS) in Ahmedabad, India.
This position will be primarily responsible for providing support to HO tax team for tax compliance assignments, assisting in Indian GST audits and supporting HO treasury team with reconciliation activities.
Responsibilities
- Preparing GL schedules, match and reconcile GL balances with tax returns (ITC/ outward liability),
- Checking GSTR-2 received from HQ AP and matching with GL entries,
- Retrieving INR invoices from Oracle for ITC booked in USD for preparation of GSTR-2,
- Retrieving invoices from Oracle & sharing the same to consultant for GST audit requirement,
- Assisting in collecting monthly TDS (WHT) for returns,
- Preparing monthly tax schedules for reconciliation,
- Reconciling monthly HLs schedule for all tax related GLs for all stations,
- Posting tax refund entries as a part of bank reconciliation process,
- Coordination with external consultants & internal stakeholders for monthly compliance activities.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience,
- Accounting system knowledge in Oracle or other ERP softwares,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel,
- Good communication skills
