B1.3 Licensed Engineer – EC135 | Malta

The Opportunity We’re recruiting a B1.3 Licensed Engineer to support EC135 helicopter operations within a HEMS environment based in Malta.
This is a hands-on, line maintenance role where you’ll work on live aircraft, ensuring availability, safety, and compliance in a fast-paced operational setting. You’ll play a key role in keeping missions running, working closely with flight operations and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and certify maintenance on EC135 helicopters during line operations
- Ensure compliance with EASA Part-145, MOE, and AMP requirements
- Take ownership of aircraft under your responsibility, maintaining airworthiness
- Troubleshoot defects and carry out rectification within approval scope
- Maintain accurate technical records and ensure effective shift handovers
- Report occurrences and safety concerns in line with EASA requirements
- Monitor fatigue and maintain high safety standards in an operational environment
- Support maintenance on other aircraft types within licence scope
Requirements
- EASA Part-66 B1.3 Licence
- EC135 type rating
- Strong helicopter line maintenance experience
- Solid understanding of Part-145 operations
- Ability to work independently in a high-responsibility role
