Job Overview And Responsibilities
- Directs the activity of Inflight crew schedulers at the system Operations Control Center. Oversee shift activities of the Inflight Crew Scheduling functions
- Coordinates and communicates with other operating groups within the NOC. Ensures contractual interpretations and scheduling practices are administered consistently and cost effectively
- Functions as a liaison with bases and other departments with the NOC, fostering open communication and modeling teamwork through cross-functional working relationships
- Maintains productive relationships with the flight attendant union representatives
- Leads a team of senior schedulers and schedulers
- Develops employees and encourages positive employee engagement
- Represent Inflight Scheduling as an SME for organizational IT, training and project initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- High School diploma
- 1-2 years operational management
- 1-2 yrs Scheduling Ops Experience
- Strong ability to promote inclusiveness, communication and employee development
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Read and write in English
- Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred
- B.A./B.S. degree
- 2+ Years of operational and people management
- Microsoft Office experience
