Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Past experience in Make/Buy/BOM Planning or equivalent, with the ability to demonstrate basic understanding.
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs; including SAP, Microsoft Office.
Very good organization and communication skills.
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing.
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).
Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance after accepting an offer and before starting the role.
Job Description
You will be the Manufacturing Planner for the Production Planning and Control team. Our team is responsible for overseeing program and manufacturing planning, managing purchase requisitions, material bills of material, and MRP scheduling to ensure timely production.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Production Planning and Control team member, you will be responsible for collaboration with other functions to ensure system accuracy and production schedules that meet the commitments to our customers.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Effective factory implementation and cut‑in of engineering and process changes.
- Maintain and update Material Part Numbers and collaborate with engineering to ensure Bill of Material accuracy, reflecting current design intent.
- Schedule and ensure integrity of the MRP system for all assigned assemblies, reporting build status.
- Monitor production schedules from various manufacturing sites/centers.
- Manage kit issues, hardware fulfillment, and prioritize workflow in partnership with manufacturing supervision.

Desired Skills
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.
ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification or equivalent.
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
