As a fast-growing, truly international, company we are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Coordinator to join our HR team based in Malta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of HR administrative tasks and will play a crucial role in supporting the team and ensuring smooth operations.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will oversee various HR functions, including managing the HR inbox, assisting with day-to-day tasks and handling onboarding. You will also support new hires through relocation, manage probation periods, and handle leaver administration.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain the HR general inbox and answer employee queries accordingly.
- Provide assistance to the HR team on day-to-day activities.
- Administer and manage employee benefits.
- Manage the onboarding process of new-hires.
- Become the main point of contact and support new-hires in the relocation process.
- Manage and track the probation process of new-hires.
- Process leaver administration, including arranging exit interviews, ending employee benefits and coordinating the return of equipment.
- Handling the administrative tasks related to the annual performance management cycle.
- Assist with the recruitment process and support hiring managers in talent selection.
- Keep up to date with the changes in employment law, HR trends and best practices, and provide feedback/recommendations.
- Assist the HR team with any additional projects and initiatives, and provide ad hoc administrative support.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Experience in an HR and/ or administrative position will be considered as an asset.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good communicator and able to build rapport.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail.
- Discrete and treats all matters with absolute confidentiality and integrity.
