Reporting to: Assistant Manager Crew Scheduling
Join Cathay Pacific as a Crew Scheduling Executive, you will be ensuring optimized crew pairings, leading roster construction, and coordinating training schedules while fostering teamwork and compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure optimized crew pairings that comply with legal, industrial, company, and training requirements.
- Integrate finalized flight schedules and manpower plans before roster production.
- Act as liaison between Planning, Tactical Operations Planning, and Global Business Services during roster cycles.
- Consolidate hotel requirement forecasts to support contract negotiations.
- Lead and supervise roster construction teams for pilots and cabin crew.
- Project and update detailed training lines for current and upcoming schedules.
- Coordinate with training managers and departments to align crew training requirements with rosters.
- Manage simulator instructor rosters and liaise with Civil Aviation Department (CAD) inspectors for their flying schedules.
- Conduct performance measurements on rosters and recommend improvements.
- Coach and develop Crew Scheduling Officers and Crew Scheduling Specialist ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Tertiary education background.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in crew management or equivalent.
- Knowledge of flight crew and cabin crew roster handling is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Approved Flight Time Limitations (AFTLs), Conditions of Service, Rostering Guidelines, and crew training requirements is essential.
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Skilled in Excel, Word, or equivalent software.
- Ability to work independently, decisively under pressure, and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Analytical aptitude with preference for experience in optimization activities.
