About the Role
We are currently supporting a leading aerospace organisation in Switzerland seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their electrical manufacturing and quality team. This role focuses on inspecting electrical assemblies and aviation products, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements within a safety-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections of electrical and aviation-related products and systems based on technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), conformity inspections, incoming goods inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
Operate measurement and testing equipment and accurately interpret test results.
Identify, document, and report non-conformities and quality deviations.
Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and industry standards.
Maintain quality records and support reporting activities within quality management systems.
Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
Completed technical training in Electronics, Electromechanics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
Additional qualifications in Quality Assurance or Quality Control would be advantageous.
Experience in quality inspection within electrical manufacturing, cable assembly, or component production.
Familiarity with testing methods such as continuity, insulation, and high-voltage testing.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical drawings.
Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office applications is beneficial.
Very good German and solid English communication skills.
Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a highly regulated and safety-critical environment.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills combined with an independent working style.
