As part of our LEAP engine ramp-up, we are looking for Inspectors (Jet Engines) to join and strengthen our teams.
Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. Your role:
- Carry out visual and dimensional inspections on disassembled parts according to applicable procedures;
- Evaluate parts, modules or engines and define their status (serviceable, repairable or scrap) in the ERP system;
- Use the appropriate tools, materials and inspection methods;
- Ensure full traceability by accurately completing administrative follow-up of performed tasks;
- Define the future configuration of parts or modules;
- Perform incoming inspections on repaired or newly purchased parts;
- Carry out final inspections following internal repairs.
You are quality-oriented, technically skilled and confident in taking ownership and responsibility.
Your profile:
- You hold a technical secondary degree with a strong mechanical background and relevant experience as an aeronautical technician, or a Bachelor's degree in Aviation with hands-on industry experience;
- You have previous experience as an Inspector and possess solid knowledge of aircraft engines;
- You demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, safety and regulatory compliance;
- You are able to stay composed and make sound decisions under pressure;
- You are flexible and adapt easily to changing priorities and work environments;
- You have a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities;
- You possess a very good command of technical English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset, with willingness to further develop language skills;
- You are willing to work in a two-shift system (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00);
- You enjoy working collaboratively in an international and multilingual environment;
