We are seeking a Global Business Travel Immigration Specialist to join our Global Mobility team, supporting business operations through effective coordination and process excellence.
You will ensure employees can travel internationally for short-term work and business activities by working collaboratively with Global Immigration Partners.
You will ensure Global Business Travelers hold the requisite entry clearance visa for the type of activity they are undertaking, managing risks, applying our core behaviors, project managing large group travel, advise stakeholders on immigration and cross-border rules.
What you will do:
Compliance:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, including employees travelling, in relation to business travel immigration matters.
- Manage end-to-end immigration support for business travellers across all global locations.
- Assess travel activities provided by business stakeholders for immigration risk and provide clear internal guidance on visa and work permit requirements.
- Initiate vendor immigration support where required.
- Conduct regular global business travel immigration risk checks and report out on any risks identified.
- Collaborate with global people partners and business stakeholders through internal training to mitigate immigration risks related to business travel.
- Update existing content of internal knowledge articles on business travel immigration and create new articles where gaps arise.
Vendor Management:
- Ensuring service provider delivery on all business travel visa and work permit applications, including tracking service provider performance through set KPIs.
- Manage vendor costs efficiently and identify opportunities to optimise costs and improve service efficiency.
- Produce regular reports and insights on vendor performance, including costs and KPI performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the global mobility team in relation to business traveller immigration.
- Escalation points for employees.
Support the Immigration Lead
- Develop and implement a new global business travel solution to drive efficiencies, increased compliance and employee experience in relation to global business travel immigration.
- Embed a technology solution which will assist business travellers with a pre-trip visa analysis.
Position qualifications & experience:
- Experience leading and working with global immigration partners, including top-tier immigration companies.
- Strong knowledge of immigration processes across the EMEA & US region, including both temporary assignments and long-term/permanent transfers. Provides clear guidance, process understanding, and advisory support.
- Demonstrates strong research capability, with a curiosity and eagerness to deep dive into complex topics.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative approach. Comfortable handling challenges and navigating ambiguity
- Ability to interpret immigration rules (not just process cases)
