We're looking for a Crew HR Manager to join our team in Riga, Latvia. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the employee experience for our pilots and cabin crew while supporting a growing international operation. Combining recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations, and compliance, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our crews are supported, engaged, and ready to deliver world-class operations.
This is a permanent, full-time, office-based position offering the opportunity to influence both day-to-day operations and long-term improvements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Crew Recruitment & Onboarding:
Run and oversee recruitment campaigns for pilots and cabin crew in close connection with the owners of the areas;
Ensure onboarding processes are welcoming, informative and compliant with Norse Atlantic's own requirements.
Data & Reporting:
Keep track of crew headcount, attrition, and performance trends;
Provide regular updates and reports to management.
Workforce Planning & Scheduling Support:
Employee Support & Relations:
Act as a go-to person for crew HR matters, handling questions, concerns, and grievances fairly and promptly;
Promote inspiring and living the Norse values across all crew bases.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure crew records, contracts, and documentation are always up to date;
Have an overview and master the local aviation authority requirements and labour laws.
Collaboration:
Partner with Operations, Safety, Finance, Legal, and other key functions to ensure seamless crew management and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For:
Proven track record from managing crew functions across multiple jurisdictions;
Preferably 5 years’ experience in HR, with aviation or crew management exposure preferred;
Knowledge about how to utilize tech tools to simplify process;
Strong working knowledge of crew contracts, compliance and labour law;
Hands-on experience in recruitment, workforce planning, and employee and union relation;
Comfortable balancing day-to-day operations with longer-term improvements;
Clear communicator, problem solver, and team player.

You will be a part of our crewing team in Riga, reporting directly to Director Crew Management.
