Join easyJet as a Service Assurance Specialist – Airport Operations and keep Europe’s most connected airport network flying smoothly.
In this critical role within our Tech & Data organisation, you will ensure our airport operational technologies remain stable, resilient, and ready for future growth. You will collaborate with product teams, ground handlers, and airport partners across four core product groups:
- Airport Management
- Departure & Compliance
- Enable Ground Crew
- Baggage Operations.
Role Purpose
You will be at the heart of our mission to deliver seamless digital experiences for millions of passengers. This role offers the opportunity to champion service maturity, influence tech evolution, and grow your career within a fast-paced, household-name airline.
What We Are Looking For
- Drive Service Assurance: Support ITSM processes, operational governance, and standardized IT support across all airport technologies and suppliers.
- Manage Incidents: Coordinate and escalate live operational IT incidents to minimise disruption to flights and ground crew.
- Handle On-Call Major Incidents: Participate in a scheduled roster as an out-of-hours Major Incident Manager (full training and tooling provided).
- Ensure Operational Readiness: Validate new service deployments, test disaster recovery plans, and ensure documentation is complete before technology goes live.
- Continuous Improvement: Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and run operational reviews to boost long-term service resilience.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work alongside Product Managers, Technical Specialists, and external suppliers to maintain high data quality and system visibility.
Key Skills
- Operational IT Expertise: Strong background in operational support, service assurance, and incident management within complex environments.
- Framework Knowledge: Clear understanding and practical experience with IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL processes.
- Supplier Management: Experience supporting third-party suppliers and supplier-managed services in live environments.
- Aviation Sector Knowledge: Understanding of airport operations, ground handling processes, and live airport technologies.
- Problem Solvers: Accountable professionals who can balance operational resilience, compliance, and user impact in high-pressure situations.
